Get a Body like Ashley

In response to some questions I’ve recently gotten about how Ashley got in shape for a new movie, I decided to share a sample routine. We constantly mixed things up, but kept it intense. He wasn’t supposed to be “big”, so we focused on full body circuits and strict dieting. Anyway….

Here is an example of a typical training session with Ashley, done at a park outside of Beverly Hills.

We started with a quick dynamic warmup, then did this…together. Yes, I did it with him! We love to compete.

Circuit I (all exercises done back to back without rest, three times through)
1a. unilateral db squatpress (8-12 reps)
1b. decline plyo pushup (15 reps)
1c. hill sprints (30 yards)
1d. wide grip pullup (6-8 reps)
1e. hanging leg raise (10 reps)

Circuit II (all exercises done back to back without rest, three times through)
2a. burpee jumps (10-15 reps)
2b. renegade db row (8-12 reps)
2c. standard pushup (20-25 reps)
2d. hill sprints (30 yards)
2e. chinups (6-8)
