A few folks have been asking why I’m posting so much fitness/body related content recently. Fitness/weightlifting/nutrition has always been a major passion for me but it wasn’t until the last few years that I was able to really make it part of my lifestyle. I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I ever did for myself — not just physically but mentally. It focused me and it allowed me to overcome some personal obstacles that were holding me back in my life. I can’t tell you how unbelievably fulfilling it is to set a fitness/nutrition goal for yourself, stick with it and then look in the mirror and see a new and improved version of yourself. Not only do you feel more confident, you feel empowered in other areas of your life as well. If you’ve never invested in yourself in this area you owe it to yourself to do so. We all start from different places and have different goals in life. There are some things about my body shape that I’m still not satisfied with and would like to improve upon. I’m not where I want to be yet but I’m getting there and I want to thank you for letting me share my fitness journey with you. I’m so grateful for all the positive feedback you guys have given me. You motivate me to keep improving upon myself and reaching new goals, physically, mentally and spiritually. I don’t post body shots because I’m shallow or in love with myself, I post them because I’m documenting my journey and I’m interested in yours as well. Goodnight and much love!
